History

What was to become Karribank was built in the early 1900s.

It began to provide lodging for travellers shortly after and holds the honour of being Western Australia's first country retreat.

Karribank has always been a popular family holiday destination for visitors from all over Australia and, in recent times, overseas visitors have come to discover the peace and tranquility that many have enjoyed here.

Over the years, various additions have been made to the original buildings, and many new buildings have been added at various times, allowing us to offer a very wide range of accommodation.
